How You Can Help

Do you have a box of old photographs in the attic? Did you great grandfather ever tell you a story about the Springdale section of Holden?

We're researching the Springdale Mill and Mill Village, and we'd like your help. If you think you may have any information about the mill or the area, please let us know at info@springdalemill.org.

We need information about…

- Springdale
- Springdale School
- The Springdale Mill
- The Glen Woolen Mill
- James Dorr, J. G. Smith, J. L. Smith
- The Quinapoxet River between River St. and the Holden/West Boylston line
- The Mass Central Railroad
- The Central Mass Railroad
- The Central Mass Branch of the B&M Railroad
- Springdale RR Station

We're looking for historical information, pictures, stories, and memorabilia of any kind. A postcard, a railroad timetable, a letter or a deed would help. Did your great grandfather ever tell you a story about the Springdale section of Holden? Do you have a box of old photographs in the attic?

Please, talk to your neighbors, friends, relatives, acquaintances and colleagues.
